The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the hotel’s lobby and public areas. This role ensures all guest-facing spaces are clean, welcoming, and in accordance with brand and company standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

  • Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Hospitality environment experience a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and public areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Maintain cleanliness and restocking of public restrooms.
  • Ensure all furniture, décor, and fixtures in public areas are clean and tidy.
  • Monitor lobby appearance throughout the shift and address issues promptly.
  • Respond to guest requests and provide assistance courteously.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
