General Summary

Responsible for the review of maintenance performed on consumer and residential mortgage loans. Handles general loan servicing issues, and post-close customer interaction for all consumer and residential mortgage loans.

Reports To: Loan Servicing Team Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed reviews of all consumer and mortgage loan daily maintenance changes and updates on Cognos Report.
  • Conduct detailed review of all new consumer and mortgage loan input, verifying boarding data input to core.
  • Review daily loan operations reports from Synergy, including Low Balance Escrow Report. Identify customers and contact for review as needed.
  • Provide support for incoming customer calls and emails, both internal and external customers. Including loan questions, documentation requests, payoff letter requests.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive loan reports on monthly basis for publishing.
  • Compile and maintain weekly/monthly report for Capital Tax.
  • Maintain polices/procedures which affect the Loan Operations Department.
  • Maintain Vault and conduct reviews of original note and mortgage documents. Pull paid notes and mortgage documents when paid in full.
  • Mortgagee Clause update with Insurance providers.
  • Backup for the various Loan Servicing department functions.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
  • Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ retail banking experience
