Job Description

Are you energized by helping people, coordinating complex details, and being a key player in delivering exceptional member experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced lending environment where accuracy, collaboration, and clear communication matter? If so, you may be the perfect fit for our Loan Processor II role supporting both our Consumer and Mortgage Lending Teams.

This is a dynamic, growth-focused position where you’ll maintain proficiency in your primary area (Consumer or Real Estate lending) while actively expanding your skills in the other. You’ll play a critical role ensuring loan packages are accurate, closings run smoothly, and members feel supported at every step.

What You’ll Do:

Loan Coordination

  • Use positive, proactive communication to coordinate Consumer loan closings.
  • Ensure Mortgage Loan Officers provide complete, accurate documentation for Real Estate loans.
  • Conduct post–setup tasks for Real Estate loans, including ordering reports and collecting conditions.
  • Assist borrowers with appraisal dispute resolution.
  • Provide back-up support for Consumer Lending queues, dealer requests, and online loan applications.

Loan Processing

  • Prepare closing documents for all Consumer loans (collateralized, personal loans, credit cards) with exceptional accuracy.
  • Facilitate remote closings using DocuSign and update loan applications when changes occur.
  • Prepare closing documents for simple Real Estate loans and act as a secondary review for packages created by others.
  • Book, fund, and disburse loan proceeds for both Consumer and Real Estate loans quickly and precisely.
  • Serve as a dependable support resource to all parties involved, fostering a cohesive lending environment.

Leadership Through Example

  • Demonstrate high-quality work that sets the standard for others.
  • Participate actively in development sessions and apply skills learned.
  • Embrace continuous growth and use open communication to help drive positive departmental change.
  • Step in for additional duties as needed to support the team.

How Your Success Will Be Measured

  • Delivering error-free, on-time loan packages.
  • Maintaining friendly, accurate, transparent communication with members and colleagues.
  • Supporting seamless loan closings through cross-team collaboration.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of Consumer Lending products and services.
  • Effectively multitasking across numerous closings and priorities.
  • Contributing to individual and organizational goals.
  • Ensuring open communication with internal partners and external stakeholders throughout the loan process.

Atlantic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of related experience, in lending or loan operations.
  • Strong preference for real estate lending experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—able to build trust, resolve first-level conflicts, and communicate with tact and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities.
  • Comfort working extensively with computers and loan systems.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and member-focused service.
