Loan Marketing Executive (Marketer)

Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦250,000 Monthly + Commission + Performance Incentives

The Loan Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving loan product sales, customer acquisition, and deposit mobilization for the Microfinance Bank. The role focuses on generating quality loan leads, converting prospects into active customers, and expanding the Bank's retail and SME loan portfolio within assigned markets.

The ideal candidate must be highly target-driven, proactive, and confident in field marketing and sales execution, with strong ability to build customer relationships and close loan opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Promote and sell the Bank's loan products and financial services to individuals, SMEs, and groups
• 
  Generate new loan leads through field marketing, referrals, and customer engagement activities
• 
  Identify viable borrowers and refer qualified loan applications to the Credit/Risk team
• 
  Drive customer acquisition and support deposit mobilization initiatives
• 
  Conduct market visits, field activations, and community engagement campaigns
• 
  Build and manage strong client relationships to support loan repayment and customer retention
• 
  Achieve monthly targets for loan disbursement, customer acquisition, and deposit growth
• 
  Educate customers on loan products, repayment terms, and financial services
• 
  Collect and report market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback
• 
  Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and field activities
• 
  Follow up on loan applications and ensure smooth customer onboarding
• 
  Ensure full compliance with credit policies, KYC requirements, and banking regulations

Requirements & Competencies

• 
  2 – 4 years' experience in loan marketing, credit sales, deposit mobilization, or field banking
• 
  Experience in a Microfinance Bank or financial institution is highly preferred
• 
  Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• 
  Target-driven with proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  Strong networking and customer acquisition ability
• 
  Basic understanding of loan products, credit processes, and banking operations
• 
  Ability to work independently in field-based environments
• 
  High integrity, professionalism, and resilience under pressure
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Educational Qualification

HND / B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field
