Job Category: Loan DocumentingCNB St. Louis Bank is looking for an individual to join our growing Loan Service/Administration Team. In this role, the Loan Documentation Specialist will support lenders with preparation of all loan documents from the beginning through the closing process. This position will perform various duties to support the overall needs of our lenders and coordinators. Operational tasks performed can include loan accounting, collateral monitoring and review, and regulatory compliance tasks. In addition, there will also be general clerical duties to be completed on daily basis, such as, but not limited to, data entry, accounting, and filing/sorting of documents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, detailed oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Previous banking experience is preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with officers and coordinators to ensure a quality inter-departmental relationship by assisting them with any needs presented
- Proper Documentation of commercial loans (both new loans and renewals)
- Review incoming new loan and renewal packages before documentation begins.  Which includes reviewing for proper approvals, as well as reviewing supporting documents and reports in the packet to ensure adherence to bank policy
- Assist commercial lenders and loan coordinators to arrive at a set of documents that meets their expectations of the original approval intentions
- Prepare the signed loan documents with Debits and Credits for loan service to complete the booking process.
- Provides required compliance documents to lenders/loan coordinator in accordance with federal regulations and adherence to compliance policies
- Communicate with various departments of the bank, when needed
- Works closely with our Closing Department to ensure proper loan documents for closing

Qualifications

Qualifications
- Banking experience preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and workflows
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, analyze information and make decisions
- Willingness to assume additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as they arise
