The Loan Application Analyst provides high-quality member service by handling inbound loan inquiries, completing loan applications, and making lending decisions. This role is responsible for evaluating applications, communicating outcomes, and guiding members through loan options while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and member experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm, with rotating Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm, off every other Friday

In this position, you will

Member Interaction & Application Support

Handle inbound member calls related to loan inquiries and applications

Assist members with completing loan applications

Provide clear and accurate information on loan products, terms, and options

Guide members through the application process and next steps

Loan Evaluation & Decisioning

Review and evaluate loan applications, including credit, income, and risk factors

Verify applicant information using credit bureaus and supporting documentation

Make loan approval or denial decisions in accordance with policy

Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate

Communication & Member Experience

Clearly communicate loan decisions, including approvals and denials

Use a professional, solution-focused approach in all interactions

Recognize and respond appropriately to member cues and concerns

De-escalation and Conflict Resolution

De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied members, offering patience, assistance and support in order to find alternative solutions. Handle member complaints professionally and efficiently.

Training and Collaboration

Assist in training new employees, ensuring they understand policies. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall service.

Quality & Efficiency

Maintain a balance between call quality and productivity expectations

Manage call flow effectively while ensuring accurate decisioning

Adhere to established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements

Other duties as assigned.
