Role:
The Loan Administrator must possess an in-depth knowledge in all areas of consumer, consumer mortgage, commercial, and agricultural processing, servicing, product development, and legal/regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Loan Administrator shall possess extensive application knowledge of the Banks core lending platforms & ancillary lending systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administering one or more lending platforms and/or ancillary lending system(s). Assists in the development of processes & procedures for a comprehensive education program in relation to systems & software.
- Works directly with Loan Operations Manager, Compliance Department and/or Legal Department on the development of processes utilizing the systems/software for new & updated regulations.
- Works with given vendors to coordinate software updates and test environments.
- Provides online and phone support to lending personnel for loan software inquiries.
- Conducts various bank-wide quality control operations.
- Monitors for loan operational training needs of branch/regional personnel, Mortgage Loan Department, and Loan Processing Departments.
- Aids in preparation of Loan Committee Reports, Call Reports, Board Reports, Financial Statements and information relative to internal/external audits.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Management:
- Perform necessary administrative duties as part of Loan Conversion team in acquisition environments, as assigned by Loan Operations Manager.
- Process & monitor impaired loans, providing necessary reporting to appropriate departments or department heads.
- May also assist in the preparation of reports related to productivity, volume, and performance.
- Review and/or prepare monitoring reports in relations to product development, loan processing and loan servicing.
- Work directly with Loan Operations Manager to supervise the CECL and Stress Testing requirements of the Banks reserve.
- Monitor and balance bank-wide loan account General Ledgers.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and/or

Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Five years of banking experience preferred.
- Ability to apply bank regulations and compliance policies. Experience with Banks current systems in use by organization is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy at all times.
- Superior problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of all loan application systems and software plus proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs or similar software.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
- Ability to handle high volume of work and work closely with lending team.

While performing this job the employee would occasionally be required to carry loads up to and including 24lbs. It is frequently necessary to bend, squat, reach above the shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance and push/pull equipment. Firm grasping/fine manipulation with the right/left hand is necessary. In an 8-hour day, the employee can expect to sit about 6 hours.
