Our Loan Administration team supports the bank’s lending operations from loan closing through servicing. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to provide daily support to two Loan Administrators and work closely with lenders and other departments.

This position is an important part of keeping loan files accurate, organized, and moving efficiently through the process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to two Loan Administrators.
  • Assist with processing and closing new loans by organizing documents, tracking outstanding items, and following up as needed.
  • Review loan files for missing or incomplete documentation and help resolve routine issues.
  • Assist with loan servicing, including processing payments, payoffs, renewals, and other routine loan transactions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical loan files, including scanning, filing, and organizing collateral records.
  • Contact insurance agents, title companies, borrowers, and other parties to obtain required loan documentation.
  • Track insurance, title, collateral, and other outstanding loan items.
  • Assist with loan documentation reviews, audits, and other department reporting as needed.
  • Help maintain spreadsheets and tracking reports to monitor loan activity and outstanding items.
  • Process and distribute incoming mail and loan-related correspondence.
  • Work closely with lenders, Loan Administration, Operations, Accounting, and other departments to keep loan processes moving.
  • Provide backup support to the Loan Administration team during absences or periods of high volume.
  • Identify errors or missing information and bring issues to the appropriate Loan Administrator or lender.
  • Maintain confidentiality of borrower and bank information.
  • Follow bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Preferred qualifications

  • 1–2 years of banking, lending, customer service, or office experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of lending and loan documentation is helpful.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a dependable team member.
  • Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Professional, positive, and service-focused attitude.
