Responsibilities:

  • Accurately count and record products by category
  • Enter inventory results into Excel and the inventory database
  • Identify and flag any non‑conforming product (e.g., incorrect code, label issues, short fill, missing carton, leaks)
  • Assign orders to shipping associates using load‑out sheets
  • Review available product by code date—both visually and electronically—to ensure proper product rotation
  • Ensure all products are assembled in the staging area for loading
  • Direct trailer movement throughout the load‑out period
  • Prepare paperwork for the oncoming shift
  • Complete all required documentation and scheduled product checks
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with all food safety and quality system requirements, including regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standards
  • Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours
  • Supports team and organizational goals through additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Forklift and/or pallet jack certification as provided by the company.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, preferred
  • Experience in refrigerated warehouses and shipping environments preferred
  • Ability to remain focused and prioritize tasks during peak demand periods with multiple requests from associates and managers
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skills are beneficial.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend
  • Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75 pounds
