We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our team in Montreal-East

As a Loader Operator, you will be directly involved in our recycling operations by loading, moving, and handling materials using a loader. You will primarily work outdoors in an industrial environment where safety, awareness, and precision are essential.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Operate the loader safely and efficiently;
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout different areas of the site;
  • Feed the production line and different departments as needed;
  • Weigh incoming and outgoing materials and complete the required reports;
  • Inspect the equipment before and after each shift;
  • Ensure the proper operation of the equipment and report any issues to your supervisor;
  • Report any material irregularities or non-conformities to the supervisor;
  • Keep your work area clean and safe;
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You have a DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment;
  • You hold a valid heavy equipment operator certification;
  • You have a valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • You are committed to health and safety;
  • You are able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are able to work effectively as part of a team.
