AIM is currently looking for a Loader Operator for the Montréal East site, for a schedule from Friday to Sunday, from 05:00 to 17:30. Work 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours. You perform the various loading and material handling tasks requiring the use of your machine. You also carry out the weighing of material entering and leaving the yard.

What you are responsible for :

  • Operating a loader efficiently and safely;
  • Loading and unloading raw materials in the different departments;
  • Completing and providing weight reports to the concerned parties;
  • Notifying the supervisor of any non conforming material;
  • Inspecting the machinery at the beginning and end of the shift;
  • Feeding the production line;
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of the machinery and report any anomalies to the immediate supervisor;
  • Completing the daily report of your activities;
  • All other related tasks.

Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You have a DEP in heavy machinery or 1 to 3 years of experience on a heavy vehicle.
  • You have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • You are conscientious regarding health and safety.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You are able to work effectively in a team.
  • You have knowledge of metals (asset).
