Copart are currently recruiting a Loader Operator to join the team at our Bristol Operation Centre, BS10 7SF.

Our Yard team are a dedicated team that are crucial to our operation. They love working in all weathers and have a passion for vehicles and working with cars.

We see Copart as a family and as one team we guide and support every teammate, to ensure that we have the skills to tackle every challenge that comes our way.

Our team consistently and promptly respond to customer requests and complete service orders to deadlines. They ensure that vehicles are stored and maintained in line with customer and company standards and operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles.

The salary for this position is £30,668 per annum.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to Company standards and customer requirements

• Providing basic facility maintenance including cleaning, basic repair and yard upkeep

• Recording vehicle information accurately and legibly

• Operating digital cameras and other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices

• Using a JCB 416 Articulated Loader and Tractor to move vehicles

• Providing excellent customer service

• Following Health & Safety and Company guidelines, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment

• Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Happy to work outside, in all weather conditions

What we need from you:

Essential

• Full driving licence

• Experience in operating a Loader

• Rough Terrain Forklift Truck Licence (Appropriate training will be given to obtain Front Shovel Loader Licence)

• Mechanical experience

• Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable

• JCB 416 Articulated Loader Experience

• Able to multi-task in a fast paced, commercial environment.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to operate basic equipment
