About the role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Process Workers and Loader/Carousel Operators for casual ongoing roles with an immediate start at our Buchanan site.

These hands-on roles play a vital part in ensuring our egg processing operations run safely, efficiently and on time. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment and contributing directly to getting fresh eggs onto supermarket shelves.

Loader / Carousel Operator duties include:

• Loading stacks of eggs onto infeed belts
• Removing boxes of finished product from the carousel
• Stacking and wrapping pallets
• Manual handling and lifting (heavier than Process Worker role)
• Process Worker duties include:
• Packing eggs into cartons

Process Worker duties include

• Loading cartons onto conveyor belts
• Working at a fast pace with repetitive tasks
• Standing and bending for extended periods

Role Details

Roster: 4 rostered weekdays plus Saturday

Weekdays: 7:15am – 5:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Employment type: Casual ongoing

Location: Buchanan (candidates must be able to travel up to 40 minutes)

Pay rates:

$31.61 per hour

Saturday rate: $36.42 per hour

About you

Are you reliable, physically capable and comfortable working in a fast-paced processing environment? You enjoy practical work, take pride in what you do, and understand the importance of teamwork, safety and consistency. Whether packing or working on the loader, you bring a strong work ethic and a positive attitude every shift.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a processing or packing environment preferred
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks, manual handling and working on your feet
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong awareness of safety and quality standards

Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle required

These roles are not ideally suited to Working Holiday Visa holders
