Job Description:

Per Diem Commitment Requirement:

Must be available to work a minimum of four shifts per month. (Training will need to be atleast 2-3 days for several weeks)

Clinic Hours:

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Shifts will vary based on clinic needs during operating hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience
• Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire

Major Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental policies and procedures; objectives; quality improvement programs; safety/environment of care programs and infection control standards.
• Provides personal care to patients.
• Performs all clerical duties to include accurate and timely patient care documentation. Transcribes physician orders; maintains record integrity. Performs clerical duties relating to admission; discharge; transfer and death. Maintains department records; reports and files. Requisitions supplies; equipment; maintenance and repairs. Keeps stock and equipment inventories.
• Determines proper functioning of medical equipment to assure patient safety.
• Maintains a safe; comfortable and therapeutic environment for patient and family in accordance with hospital standards including assurance and support of patient's rights and responsibilities.
• Performs EKGs and/or ortho tech/telemetry skills. May perform phlebotomy in designated areas. Orients new LNAs.
• Performs basic procedures to include incentive spirometry; bedside testing such as blood glucose testing; non-sterile dressing changes and oral suctioning and maintains aseptic technique when appropriate.
• Performs accurate and timely documentation of patient care information on appropriate patient medical record forms.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the patient care plan.
• May enter laboratory orders and/or records charges.

Additional Clinic Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.
• Assist with wound dressing care and non-sterile dressing changes as directed.
• Prepare and turn over exam rooms between patients.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with supply and inventory ordering.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional wound and ostomy care.

Pay Range:

$21.00 - $30.14

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
