The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 0.7 FTE LMC/Recess/Instructional Paraprofessional at Huntley Elementary School beginning on 8/24/26.


Salary: Starting at $16.50
Schedule: 35 hours/week (M-F 10:06 am - 3:30 pm)
Qualifications: High School Diploma and 48 college credits.

What you'll do
The LMC/Recess-Instructional Paraprofessional supports teachers and library media staff by performing clerical tasks, assisting with instructional activities, and supervising students in various school settings. Responsibilities include maintaining library records, organizing materials, helping with technology and assessments, and providing one-on-one or small group student support under teacher guidance. This role also involves supervising students during recess, lunch, hallways, and other activities to ensure a safe and positive environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 48 college credits, and be willing to train in instructional technology and de-escalation strategies. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this position, along with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment.
