LlifeCycle Services Renew and Poly Services Financial Analyst

HP Services are a critical growth engine, driving recurring revenue, customer retention, and lifecycle value across hardware, software, and solutions.

This Expert role provides focused financial ownership and analytical execution across two Services areas: Renew and Poly Services

The position applies deep financial expertise to ensure accurate reporting, clear performance insight, and disciplined execution, while partnering closely with Services Category, and Finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Renew Services – Financial Ownership

• Act as the finance owner for the Renew business, supporting revenue, margin, and performance tracking.
• Own Renew financial reporting deliverables including FDE, flash, and trend files.
• Analyze performance drivers and prepare variance explanations versus plan.
• Support planning cycles (LTP, budget, forecast) with Renew-specific data and assumptions.
• Partner with Renew business and Services finance stakeholders to support operational reviews.

Poly Services – Financial Ownership

• Support Poly Services LTP orders and revenue modeling (new and renew).
• Prepare waterfall, revenue bridge, and trend analysis.
• Support actuals analysis and select cost accruals.
• Track and analyze Poly Services cost components, including Pexip and training costs.
• Support financial analysis for renewal programs, pricing actions, and investments.

Cross-Functional & Analytical Contributions

• Ensure consistency and data integrity across Renew and Poly Services reporting.
• Support flash validation, trend analysis, and secured revenue checks.
• Provide analytical support for ad-hoc performance and reporting requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and documentation.

Education and Experience Required

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7–10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

• Experience in Finance, FP&A, or Business Finance, preferably in Services or recurring-revenue environments.
• Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and planning cycles.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently within a defined scope and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Renewals, Services, or subscription-based businesses.
• Exposure to Poly Services or attach/renewal economics.
• Familiarity with Workday, Anaplan, or similar financial systems.
