Location: On-Site - Must currently reside on Oʻahu and be available for in-person interviews and immediate hire.
Relocation Package: None
Schedule: Full-time; open availability including weekends and holidays is required.

The Livestock Technician supports daily ranch operations by maintaining livestock and pasture infrastructure. This includes working cattle from horseback, ATV, or on foot, administering medical care, repairing fences and gates, maintaining pasture health, and ensuring proper infrastructure function such as water systems and irrigation. This role requires adaptability, physical endurance, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Livestock Handling & Care – Assist with moving herds, roundups, branding, and administering medication.
• Fence & Gate Maintenance – Install, repair, and maintain pasture fencing and gates.
• Pasture Management – Control invasive weeds through mowing, mechanical removal, and herbicide application.
• Infrastructure Maintenance – Maintain and repair ranch water systems, plumbing, and equipment.
• Other Duties as Assigned – Respond to operational needs as they arise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with livestock, ranch operations, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to operate ATVs, tractors, and various ranch equipment.
• Comfortable working in rough terrain and extreme weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote areas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly.
• Requires frequent bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and prolonged standing.
• Ability to hike and work in rough, uneven, and steep terrain.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and wind.
• Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.

SCHEDULE
• Full-time position, requires flexibility based on ranch needs.
• May include weekends, holidays, and extended hours depending on operational demands.
