Level 3: The role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently or intensively.

ROLE PURPOSE:

This position will be responsible for supporting SCI’s livelihoods activities for refugees and host community members. The position is responsible for the mentorship of the livelihood beneficiaries. The position maintains follow-up process with the livelihood beneficiary to ensure their understanding of the training material and their ability to develop their skills either to start a micro-business or to maintain a job.

Project Implementation

· Outreach of the target beneficiaries of the implementation pilot CBO’s team

· Conduct one to one interview with livelihood beneficiaries that received seed funds last year and check their business statues.

· Conduct filed visits for beneficiaries.

· Preparation of business groups discussion.

· Provide a Career guidance sessions to beneficiaries from.

· Participate in business groups discussion

· Conduct business groups and individual mentoring sessions to the livelihood’s participants during the project implementation.

· Follow up with the employed beneficiaries and provide them with career counselling advice.

· Keep an updated database of the participants’ information, and their technical support needs{

· Ensure that the activities are implemented in full respect to the child safeguarding policies of SC.

· Prepare for training sessions as per facilitator training manual.

· Adopting an interactive way and active learning methodologies during the training sessions

· Responsible for developing a monthly plan for the training sessions

· Contribute to the development of project database, monitoring system, and carry out activities according to the agreed-upon indicators regularly

· Cooperate with the team members aiming the best interest of the participants;

· Develop monthly reports reflecting the progress in the project implementation, highlight success cases, and document challenges encountered during the implementation of activities;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

المؤهلات والخبرات

· Degree in a Social Sciences, humanities, psychology, Or any relevant degree

· حاصلة على مؤهل علمي في مجال العلوم الاجتماعية، الإنسانية، النفسية، أو أي مؤهل مناسب

· Minimum of 1-3 years of successful experience on the fieldwork preferably in capacity building and livelihood. Strong experience of dealing with children and youth.

· خبرة ناجحة في العمل الميداني من سنة إلى ۳ سنوات، ويفضل الخبرة في مجال بناء القدرات وسبل المعيشة، بالإضافة إلى الخبرة القوية في التعامل مع البالغين والشباب.

· Proven Expertise in designing and facilitating Life skills programs and entrepreneurship

· خبرة مثبتة في تصميم وتيسير برامج يناء القدرات وسبل المعيشة

· Proven knowledge and skills in activity planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation

· Proven expertise in livelihood programs.
