Pay Rate: Up to $21.00/hour
Client: Female Senior Client

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide live-in care for a female client living with Dementia and Alzheimer's disease The client resides with her son and daughter-in-law in a supportive family environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of PSW experience, possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, and be committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care that promotes dignity, comfort, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, showering, grooming, and hygiene support
• Provide assistance with dressing and daily living activities
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement activities
• Monitor client safety and well-being throughout the day
• Support mobility and encourage independence where appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Follow established care plans and document/report any changes in the client's condition
• Communicate effectively with family members and care coordinators

Client Needs

• Female client diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's disease
• Requires supervision, companionship, and assistance with activities of daily living
• Driver's license and personal vehicle required for transportation and errands as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent healthcare training
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing personal care to seniors
• Experience supporting clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's disease preferred
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with family members
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset
