Live-In Home Health Aide (CHHA)

United Methodist Communities | Western New Jersey

Earn $241–$257 per day as a Live-In Home Health Aide. Provide steady, one-on-one care for a single client in their home across Western New Jersey.

United Methodist Communities has been recognized as a Great Place to Work for nine consecutive years. As a HomeWorks Live-In CHHA, you will provide care to one client over an extended period, allowing you to build familiarity with that client's needs and provide more consistent, personalized care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous care to ensure client safety, comfort, and continuity of care
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, medication reminders, and mobility
  • Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and perform light housekeeping
  • Accompany clients to appointments and support safe mobility
  • Monitor for changes in condition or behavior and report them to nursing staff

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older

Preferred:

  • Prior live-in or home care experience

Pay & Benefits

  • $241–$257 per day, based on case
  • Mileage reimbursement between client visits
  • $500 referral bonus for CHHA hires you refer
  • Paid sick time

  • Paid training, plus scholarship support if you want to grow your certification further
  • Some benefits are position, shift, and hours dependent
