Job Description

• Work with live birds in preparation of production.
• Responsible to hang chickens; following all animal welfare standards while handling the birds in a safe and respectful manner.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is needed, we'll train you.
• Must be comfortable handling live birds.
• Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the US.

Physical Requirements

• Handling of live birds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
