Job Description

HERS Advisors has partnered with a premiere boutique litigation firm who has an immediate need for a qualified Senior Litigation Paralegal to work in their Downtown Los Angeles office (hybrid)

Responsibilities for Senior Litigation Paralegal

  • Assist with drafting pleadings, routine motions, responses to discovery, subpoenas, trial documents; preparing exhibits; assembling appendices for motions and/or appellate practice.
  • Assist attorneys with document review and production; track production documents and status.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain case files.
  • Deposition, mediation, and trial preparation and support.
  • Work with e-discovery staff to ensure that electronic files are collected, reviewed, and managed in accordance with Firm standards.
  • Assist with scheduling case-related tasks such as witness and expert interviews.

Requirements for Senior Litigation Paralegal

  • MUST be able to comply with the requirements of California Business & Professions Code section 6450
  • MUST be an intermediate to advanced user with standard business software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of all facets of the litigation lifecycle: case management, document review, and trial experience.
  • eDiscovery experience with Relativity or similar database.
