Dinsmore is seeking a Litigation Paralegal at our San Diego, CA location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct case research and investigation
• Analyze and summarize medical and other related records
• Manage collection, organization and production of electronic documents
• Drafting of discovery and subpoenas
• Work with expert consultants and witnesses
• Assist multiple attorneys through all phases of litigation
• Availability for limited travel to clients and other Dinsmore offices

Requirements

• 3+ years of paralegal experience
• College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent
• Highly skilled, proactive, and well-rounded litigation paralegal
• Perform high-quality billable work and have expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with discovery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Strong technical and database skills
• Document management experience
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as working knowledge of asbestos court dockets

Salary

• Up to 95k
