Job Description

MB Attorney Search has been retained by a consumer protection litigation firm focused on TCPA class action litigation. This firm represents consumers whose rights have been violated by unlawful robocalls and spam ext messages. Its practice is dedicated exclusively to enforcing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and holding companies accountable through class action litigation.

The Opportunity

The firm is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of litigation experience to take on a hands-on role in an active TCPA practice. The associate will work closely with the founding attorney and have meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation.

This is a contingent-fee practice with no billable-hour requirement, making it an attractive opportunity for attorneys who want to focus on litigation, strategy, and results rather than timekeeping.

Responsibilities may include:

• Court appearances and hearings
• Depositions
• Meet-and-confer conferences
• Motion practice
• Day-to-day litigation management and case strategy

The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to take ownership of their work and step in where needed.

Location & Structure

• Fully remote position
• No billable hour requirement. Performance is evaluated on quality, responsiveness, and getting the work done.
• Flexible schedule and location, with an expectation of professional availability when urgent court needs arise.
• While the firm is based in Boston, candidates in other jurisdictions are encouraged to apply. Geographic location in the Midwest (Chicago preferred) for travel efficiency (not required).

Travel

• Typically 0–1 trips per month, occasionally up to 2–3 trips/month at peak need.
• Travel is generally short turnaround (often ~36 hours: fly in, hearing, fly out).

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of litigation experience
• Experience with TCPA and/or consumer protection matters strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a growing practice
• Flexible, practical, and eager to take on responsibility

This position may be particularly appealing to attorneys currently practicing at larger TCPA or consumer protection firms who are seeking greater responsibility, autonomy, and direct involvement in their cases.

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, skill set, and location.
