
TITLELithium Ion Cell/Module Validation Specialist
DUTIESDevelop and manage requirements related to the testing and validation of advanced automotive battery cells/modules for hybrid and electric vehicle applications. Manage core testing requirements for lithium ion battery cells and modules. Support development of source packages for battery cells and modules. Ensure proper alignment between cell/modules performance and validation requirements. Support DRBTR and DRBFM for cells and modules. Act as a main interface between cell/module engineering team and outside test labs conducting testing. Act as a member of cross-functional team supporting battery pack design and release engineering.
**Up to 10% Domestic travel is required**
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related and 6 years of experience in job offered or a similar position in product/process development for lithium ion batteries. Experience must include: Working with DVP&R (design verification plan and report) and test procedures development for lithium ion battery cells and modules; Implementing energy storage systems and vehicle electrification; Working with EV and HEV; Knowledge of DRBTR (Design review based on test requirements) and DRBFM (Design review based on failure mode); Working directly with battery supply base.
