
Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator II - Range Network. The position will be located at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Kekaha, Hawai'i.
Provides Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration for all Clients and Servers connected to the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) classified and unclassified networks. Deploys Cyber Security mandated system upgrades, system patches, system patches, and system security lockdown requirements. Performs system wide troubleshooting and problem resolution in a live mission environment.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling over 50 pounds (with a 2-person assist). Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and crawling, kneeling or cramped work, requiring repeated stooping. The environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, in a confined office laboratory work area, field assignments, sometimes in inclement weather.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: (subject to change based on industry, DoW, or local policy requirements)
Advance knowledge and certification in both Windows Server and RHEL is considered highly desired
