Our partner is a fast-growing, cutting-edge HealthTech Start-up dedicated to the digital transformation of pathology laboratories through web-based AI-powered solutions. Operating from major technoparks in Turkey (Ankara) and strategic digital health hubs in Europe (Finland), they bridge the gap between traditional medical diagnostics and advanced AI technology.
As they expand their infrastructure and hospital deployments across local and international markets, we are looking for a proactive, technically sound, and adaptable Linux System Support Specialist to manage server installations, system reliability, and technical integrations directly alongside the CTO.
Lead the physical delivery, racking, cabling, and hardware setup of Linux-based server clusters at client hospital sites.
Configure, test, and integrate specialized medical hardware devices, such as barcode and cassette printers, into daily hospital workflows.
Maintain, monitor, and ensure high availability for deployed Linux servers running proprietary AI solutions across active hospital environments.
Coordinate and execute routine software updates, patch deployments, and system version upgrades.
Act as the primary technical liaison for hospital IT and InfoSec departments on VPN configurations, firewall alignment, and privacy compliance.
Collaborate with third-party hardware vendors and storage solution providers to manage server capacity and maintenance.
Assist during database migrations and execute basic SQL queries across PostgreSQL and Oracle environments.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and document technical incidents and support requests originating from hospital IT teams.
Practical experience with Linux Server administration and command-line environments.
Working knowledge or hands-on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Foundational SQL skills and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
Basic understanding of networking principles, secure VPN setups, and firewall concepts.
Background or interest in Health Informatics, Hospital Information Systems or medical software ecosystems is a plus.
Based in Ankara (Hybrid) or Istanbul (Remote). A valid driver’s license and no travel restrictions are required for field deployments and occasional off-hours support.
