Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with software developers to establish and maintain development and production environments.
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols for handling sensitive information.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to system configurations and procedures.
• Support patches, updates, and backups to ensure systems are running smoothly.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Linux systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and shell scripting.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and security practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
