Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of Linux servers (SUSE/Ubuntu) using SUSE Manager and other tools
  • Management of various services such as Apache, Tomcat, Docker, CUPS, and Samba in VMware and cloud environments
  • Handling tasks based on ITIL and company processes (incidents, change management, problem management)
  • Working on automation so we have less manual work in the future and can focus on more important tasks
  • Participating in internal infrastructure development projects with a focus on security and quality
  • Communicating with colleagues in our Ostrava offices as well as with colleagues in Germany and India

Your Profile

  • Daily communication in English
  • Experience in a similar role (Linux administrator)
  • Experience with SUSE or Ubuntu/RedHat
  • Knowledge of VMware, Apache, Tomcat
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Familiarity with certificates (CertMonger, OpenSSL) is a plus
  • Scripting languages Bash, Python are a plus
  • SaltStack, Git, YAML are a plus
  • Experience with cloud environments is a plus (Azure, AWS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Teamwork
