About the team/ Offering

Our infrastructure and managed services teams support enterprise Linux environments, helping ensure secure, stable, and reliable operations across mission-critical systems. The team works closely with technical stakeholders to administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, deploy patches and operating system updates, support networking and service administration, and troubleshoot Linux operating system issues.

About the Role

Essential Job Functions:

As a Linux Administrator, you will support enterprise Linux environments within a managed services setting. You will administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, deploy patches and operating system updates, support service administration, networking, and Linux security, and troubleshoot Linux operating system issues to help maintain stable and secure operations.

• Administer enterprise Linux environments.
• Support and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Deploy patches and operating system updates.
• Perform service administration and support Linux networking activities.
• Apply Linux security best practices and support secure system operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux operating system issues and support incident resolution.
• Support reliable operations in enterprise and mission-critical environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments.
• Solid experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience deploying patches and operating system updates.
• Knowledge of service administration, networking, and Linux security.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems.
• Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders.
• Ability to support incident resolution and operational stability.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience in mission-critical environments is preferred.
• Experience supporting production Linux environments is preferred.
• Exposure to security hardening, patching cycles, or operational support processes is preferred.
