Are you ready to discover the role of a Linux Administrator in Netcompany?

We are looking for inspired talents that will be part of an agile, highly skilled Systems Management and DevOps Services team that designs, implements, operates and supports enterprise technology stacks both on-premises and on Public Cloud. 

As a Linux Administrator you will:

  • Administer and support Linux and UNIX operating systems in enterprise environments
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting of OS-level
  • Develop and maintain automation and scripting tools using Shell (bash, C), AWK, and Python
  • Support basic database operations (preferably Oracle Database) and assist in integration between application and database tiers
  • Participate in system integration activities, ensuring smooth interoperability between applications, services, and infrastructure components
  • Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, application servers, and middleware layers, coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational procedures and system architectures
  • Ensure compliance with security, backup, and recovery standards

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Linux/UNIX System Administration and Application Server Management
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, including user management, filesystem management, system monitoring, and service configuration
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting (bash, C), AWK, Python
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Database concepts, architecture, and connectivity
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts (networking, middleware, API connectivity, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Proactive and self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a distributed team
  • Adaptable to dynamic environments and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong ownership mindset and focus on continuous improvement
