Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute link-building campaigns focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks and brand mentions from relevant, authoritative websites.
- Conduct manual outreach to publishers, editors, bloggers, and website owners to establish long-term professional relationships.
- Identify and secure editorial placement opportunities across resource pages, guides, comparison articles, and other relevant content formats.
- Evaluate potential linking websites based on authority, relevance, traffic quality, indexing, and editorial standards.
- Negotiate placement opportunities, pricing, and partnership agreements while maintaining a focus on quality and ethical SEO practices.
- Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align outreach activities with broader organic growth strategies.
- Track outreach efforts, backlink placements, and campaign performance while maintaining accurate reporting.
- Stay informed about white-hat link-building techniques, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in link building, blogger outreach, digital PR, editorial outreach, or a similar SEO-focused role.
- Proven experience securing high-quality backlinks through manual outreach and relationship-building strategies.
- Strong understanding of backlink quality, topical relevance, indexing, domain authority, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in negotiating partnerships and placements.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Search Atlas, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Ability to provide examples of successful backlink acquisition and previous campaign results.
- Existing relationships with publishers, bloggers, or editors are considered a strong advantage.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing agency environment is required, preferably supporting U.S.-based clients.
- Experience within the healthcare or medical niche is preferred.
