YOUR ROLE

As a Linehaul Supervisor based from our Truganina VIC offices, you will help oversee our national linehaul network.

Your responsibilities include supervising the network, sourcing service providers (both internal and external) to meet the evolving needs of our customer base and identifying efficiencies within the network to enhance cost savings for the business.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Source and allocate daily ad-hoc linehaul tasks to the appropriate service providers
  • Collaborate with the Linehaul Manager to develop and maintain a strategic GT linehaul network
  • Ensure all operations adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, prioritising HS&E standards
  • Work with the Linehaul Manager to track and implement business improvements
  • Monitor and manage transport costs through initiatives aimed at increasing revenue or reducing expenses
  • Utilise KPIs to assess network performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Coordinate with CEVA operational sites to ensure timely availability of freight to carriers according to service specifications
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external customers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has proven experience supervising linehaul operations, and:

  • Familiarity with state metropolitan, rural areas, and major road routes within Australia
  • A strong ability to implement and understand cost control measures for efficient and cost-effective transport operations
  • Applied understanding of Australian road transport regulations including CoR and BFM
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders and plan effectively.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
