As a meat packaging laborer, you will work in a fast paced production environment, performing manual labor regarding all aspects of the packaging of various meat products. All laborers will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where their assistance is required. All employees are required to work in a safe manner. rn Essential Functionsrn rnrnMark product bins and cages and carts with identifying code information. rnMust be capable of lifting 30-40 lbs. on a frequent basis, in addition to pushing/pulling fully loaded meat cages & product bins. rnrnrnDocument all production related activities pertaining to the Product Traceability Computer System.rnrnrnKeeps work area neat, clean and hazard free. rnConsistent & reliable attendance. rnThe ability to follow instructions and procedures.rnA good understanding of health and safety and basic hygiene rules.rnGood powers of observation to spot problems with produce the ability to maintain.
