Salary Range: $21.00 - $26.00 Hourly

Position Summary
The Line Technician role is responsible for setting up and operating machines on the assigned production line while maintaining safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and experience in machine diagnosis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production equipment, completing start-up/shut-down procedures, operating all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, & productive manner while maximizing output.
- Work efficiently to maintain line speed to keep production flowing smoothly and prevent piles of pipe from forming.
- Perform corrective maintenance, repairs, or changeovers, performing mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production.
- Compete electric work as per job requirements and training under NFPA 70E electrical and arch flash requirements.
- Operate forklift to move finished product.
- Support the block change / changeover process as required.
- Verify that finished goods meet Prinsco’s quality standards, Identifying and reporting defects or improper machine operations immediately.
- Complete accurate, real-time reporting as required.
- Supporting ongoing safety efforts, demonstrating appropriate behaviors, and correcting others as needed.
- Assist other team members, as needed.
- Focus on cross-training, continuous learning, and improvement.
- Train to assist with leadership accountabilities.
- Participate and support the Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, or in process of completion with a minimum of six months of manufacturing or production experience, including Prinsco experience.
- Experienced in or the ability to learn electrical knowledge for this job required under NFPA 70E electrical standard.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Maintain a valid state auto driver’s license.
- Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.
- Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.
- Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday.
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.
- Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
