As our next Line Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting and leading production operations while developing strong technical and leadership skills. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining quality standards, supporting automation tasks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in production processes, quality verification, and equipment operation will help push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Achieve high productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Facilitate and participate in training sessions for personal and team development.
• Oversee daily production operations including robot jogging, program resets, safety resets, and component handling.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Monitor production output for defects or deviations from standard processes.
• Immediately contain and escalate quality concerns.
• Follow quality protocols such as first‑piece checks, in‑process inspections, and final verifications.
• Document quality results and support root‑cause analysis when defects occur.
• Champion a “stop and fix” mindset to prevent defects from continuing downstream.
• Identify and lead improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Analyze and communicate reasons for line stoppages.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to improve error‑proofing and reduce scrap.
• Over time, support advanced tasks such as programming adjustments, machine backups, and AI system updates.
• Complete production documentation including labor sheets and quality reports.
• Follow environmental and safety policies aligned with the Environmental Management System (SGA).
• Lead robot‑control and production operations to ensure smooth setups and transitions.
• Manage components: loading, purging, organizing for production flow.
• Perform quality verification at key checkpoints to prevent rework or defects.
• Engage in projects requiring updated technical knowledge and new technologies.
• Build proficiency with quality tools including 5 Whys, Pareto charts, control charts, and problem‑solving methods.
• Strong motivation to learn, grow technical skills, and build leadership capabilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient, and able to assess developing issues.
• Willingness to follow standardized work, operational procedures, and quality checklists.
• Strong communication skills for explaining operational challenges and solutions.
• Basic logic programming knowledge is a plus.
• Experience operating robots or automated production systems.
• Exposure to AI updates, production programming, or machine backups.
• Prior exposure to quality systems, defect containment, or lean tools.
