Line Technician
to work in
Thika
, Kenya

Job Summary

Ensuring
the
availability
of
appropriate
engineering
resources
to
enable
safe
and
efficient
plant
operations
for design and improvement of plant
operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·
Developing and managing the Total Preventive Maintenance
(TPM)
plan
and
its
implementation

·
Performing
engineering
analysis
and
ensuring
lowest machine energy and spares
consumption

·
Lead
in equipment breakdown
analysis, troubleshooting
and
implementation
of
CAPA (Corrective
and Preventive Actions).

·
Optimizing
equipment
efficiencies
through
adherence
to maintenance schedules Customer Return
& Quality
Documentation

·
Maintaining
& managing
engineering standards and procedures to effectively utilize equipment and
materials
to
maximize
production
and
maintain
product
quality.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·
Bachelor of Science/ Diploma
in
Electrical Engineering
or related field

·
At-least
3-
5
year(s)
relevant
experience
in
beverage
industry,
more
specifically
hands
on
experience
in troubleshooting blow moulders, filler,
labeller and accompanying utility equipment

·
Machine
Safety
Training
and
awareness
or
any
related
field.

·
Experience
responding
quickly
to
line
stoppages
and
minimizing
machine
downtime

·
Time
management

·
Attention
to
detail;
especially
critical
in
preventive
maintenance
and
diagnostics.

·
Computer
literacy

·
Leadership
skills
