Hillsboro Aero Academy, is one of the largest airplane and helicopter training schools in the United States. Thousands of pilots have graduated from our accredited programs and go on to fly for companies all over the world. Learning to fly is an amazing experience, and we have the knowledge, courses and equipment to you get off the ground as soon as possible. Our students received individualized instruction in a one-on-one environment which allows us to customize the training for every student.

We have been training pilots since 1980 and are an FAA-approved flight school. We are also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)

Hillsboro Aero Academy has partners with multiple college programs so students can receive a two and four-year college degree in conjunction with their flight training at Hillsboro Aero Academy.

All of our aircraft are meticulously maintained and our instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to teaching you the skills you need to fly. Our school campuses located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest offer our students the chance to experience a wide range of weather conditions and challenging terrain to help prepare them for their future careers. These flying conditions give our students the opportunity to learn how to handle a variety of situations and become more skilled pilots.
