Job Description

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Food Can Operator to join our highly automated food manufacturing facility in Yatala. This hands‑on role involves operating and monitoring high‑speed canning and packaging equipment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards in a safety‑focused environment.

  • Shift details: Rotating Monday to Friday day shifts (6:00am to 6:00pm) with an average of 15 shifts per month, offering genuine work-life balance.
  • Pay details: $35.09 per hour

What you'll do:

  • Operate and monitor highly automated canning and packaging lines
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers
  • Conduct routine quality checks to ensure food safety and product standards
  • Identify and escalate faults or process issues
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or automated production
  • Comfortable with shift work in a manufacturing environment
  • Safety‑focused with great attention to detail
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
