Line Manager - Onsite - Karachi

Company Overview:

Hiring one of our NVOCC / shipping company in Karachi.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall NVOCC business and commercial performance in Pakistan.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow volumes, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead, manage and motivate the country-wide sales and commercial team.
• Develop new customers and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, overseas agents and other key industry stakeholders.
• Drive sales activities, customer acquisition, pricing, and business development initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competition and trade lanes and identify new business opportunities.
• Take ownership of sales targets, revenue generation and commercial results.
• Ensure close coordination between sales, operations, and overseas partners for effective service delivery.
• Travel within Pakistan as required to develop business and supervise the team.

Job Requirement

• Proven NVOCC / shipping industry background with a strong and demonstrable track record in Sales & Business Development.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in NVOCC / shipping, with proven experience in a commercial, sales, or line management role.
• Strong knowledge of NVOCC operations, Pakistan import/export markets, trade lanes and customer requirements.
• Established network and relationships within the Pakistan shipping, freight forwarding and logistics market will be an advantage.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets, develop new business and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
• Strong commercial understanding, including pricing, margins and profitability.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
• Self-driven, self-motivated, result-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to take ownership of the business at country level.

Salary: Market Competitive

Time and Days: Mon to Fri (9am to 5pm)
