We are looking for Line Manager to join our amaZing team in Hong-Kong!

Main purpose of the role:

Support Line director in designing the product offer of the lines, implementing, monitoring, optimizing and constantly improving the performance of the Line.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensuring the budgeted volumes, revenues, costs and bottom-line profitability are met.
• Align trade and sales action with Line goals.
• Develop the new business in Intra-Asia countries.
• Forecast the future business trend.
• Collate information of trade volumes and target appropriate segments.
• Optimizing the service design by reviewing rotation and also negotiate with existing/potential partners.
• Defining overall pricing policies for both BCOs and the spot market in the dedicated trade lanes, special equipment pricing, Key Accounts, as well as origin arbitrariness and destination add-ons.
• Optimizing the overall yield by deciding allocation between Countries and review cargo mix.
• Defining the Line’s sales targets.
• Deciding on operational contingencies by balancing operational and commercial needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics/Business management/Logistics or another relevant subject.
• Business degree (MBA is an advantage).
• Working experience in international shipping or freight forward companies.
• 5 years of trade/line management experience in international shipping carrier with P&L ownership.
• Proven trade expertise, strong business acumen.
• Results oriented.
• Fluent in English.
