Key Responsibilities:

- Locate and mark underground pipelines, cables, and utility lines using specialized equipment and techniques.

- Interpret maps, blueprints, and technical drawings to identify the location of underground infrastructure.

- Conduct site inspections to ensure the accuracy of line locations and identify potential hazards.

- Maintain detailed records of line locations, markings, and related documentation.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent damage to infrastructure and ensure personal safety.

- Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding line locations and safety measures.

- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to line locating activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in line locating preferred.

- Proven experience in underground utility locating, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

- Proficiency with line locating equipment such as electromagnetic locators, ground-penetrating radar, and other detection tools.

- Strong understanding of underground utility systems, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
