Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals according to our menu. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with food inventory management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• A team player with good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
