Job Description

Come work @Lola Dining at the historic National Hotel in downtown Nevada City! Please apply with a cover letter to be considered.

Candidates must display the ability to have an organised approach to their work, have a positive attitude and be team driven. Two years experience is preferred, as is a food handlers card and a desire to push themselves and be able to show initiative and integrity always.

You will be joining a strong team that is dedicated to providing the best service to the community of Nevada City and beyond.

$19+ /hour (Doe) + Tips

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • minimum 2 years experience as a Line Cook in a professional kitchen.
  • Elevated knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary terminology.
  • Comfortability with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods, lift heavy pots and pans, and maneuver in a crowded kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification (optional but preferred).
  • Current State Food Handler Card.
