Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00 per hour

Position: Line Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines.
• Set up and stock the kitchen line before each shift.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, cutting, measuring, and portioning.
• Cook menu items accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Properly store and label food items and ingredients.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure food is prepared and stored safely.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous line cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen supplies as needed.
• Slip-resistant shoes required.
• Food Safety Certification/ServSafe Plus is preferred but not required.
• Must follow proper food handling and sanitation practices.
