Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly

As a Line Cook at Villa Restaurant Group, you will play a critical role in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and ready for service. Your attention to detail and dedication to food quality will contribute to the success of our culinary team.
What You’ll Do:
- Ingredient Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients, such as vegetables, proteins, and other items, following standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control to ensure that all ingredients meet the highest standards of taste, texture, and appearance.
- Station Setup: Set up and organize the prep station with all necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment for efficient cooking.
- Food Safety: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food storage, handling, and temperature monitoring.
- Timing: Work efficiently to ensure that all prepped ingredients are readily available for use during service hours.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the prep area and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring ingredient inventory levels and notifying the kitchen manager of any shortages or replenishment needs.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with menu items, variations, and any allergen information to assist kitchen staff and servers.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen Team Members, including chefs, cooks, and servers, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or kitchen assistant is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work 4pm - Midnight shift
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills.
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
