Job Description

THE ROLE

Join Civeo as a Casual Line Chef and play a key role in preparing, producing, and serving delicious meals to our guests. Uphold our renowned food service standards by maintaining exceptional cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen, while ensuring every dish meets the highest quality from breakfast through dinner.

  • $45 per hour + 12% Superannuation 

  • Our standard roster is 14 days on, 7 days off, but we also offer other flexible shift patterns to suit different needs, depending on operational requirements

  • Fly from Perth and be transported to one of our villages in WA

ABOUT YOU

  • Australian recognized Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or Trade Certificate (NVQ Level 4 and City & Guilds accepted)

  • Ideally 3+ years post-trade or commercial cooking experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in high-volume bulk and batch cookery (FIFO, cruise ship, or defence catering experience essential)

  • High standards in food storage and preparation methods with attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles

  • Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety and compliance standards, ensuring safe practices for self, colleagues, property and the correct operation of equipment and manual handling

  • Confident working under pressure in a diverse team of Chefs and Kitchenhands

  • Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorshipNOTavailable)

  • Confidently pass a pre-employment medical so we can keep you safe whilst working long hours in remote conditions
