The UCLA Biological Chemistry department focuses on molecular mechanisms of biological processes and
diseases through research in areas like cell signaling, genetics, cancer, and neurobiology.
The SRA I will support research in the field of neuroscience. Responsibilities include performing miscellaneous neurobiology techniques, organizing, collecting, and analyzing experimental data, assisting in animal behavioral experiments, ordering and receiving supplies, implementing and maintaining laboratory protocols including safety protocols, etc.
This is a limited position 20% time, may convert to career.
