
Lightning Protection Engineer – Testing, Inspection & Maintenance

Salary: £32k-42k DOE, plus company van, equipment, fuel card, pension, and more!
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lightning Protection Engineer to carry out testing, inspection, and maintenance of lightning protection systems across a wide range of buildings and structures. You will ensure compliance with BS EN 62305:2012 standards while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.
What You’ll Do
Test, inspect, and maintain lightning protection systems.
Complete compliance reports and issue certification.
Identify remedial works and carry out repairs.
Work at height and across multiple client sites.
Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in lightning protection (testing, repair, or installation).
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Lightning Conductor Engineering.
Strong knowledge of British Standards (BS EN 62305:2012).
Full UK driving licence and CSCS Card.
Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS.
