Lighting Services Engineer 1
Location: Enterprise, Alabama (Fieldwork required)

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• Considered: Distribution Specialist with relevant experience
• Desired Experience:
  • Southern Company (SOCO) Co-op experience
  • SOCO Distribution/Transmission experience
  • SOCO Lighting Design experience

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Effective communication skills
• High attention to detail

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Access to a personal car or truck for work-related travel
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (Alabama summer and winter conditions)
• Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
• Ability to use basic tools (e.g., hammering stakes into the ground)
• Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and priority APC systems
